Biobased pilots and demos hope for government support

An inventory of the VNCI shows that Dutch chemistry has about thirty promising biobased initiatives, varying from lab scale to pilot plants and demo factories, according to the May edition of Chemie Magazine. This new chemistry uses (organic) waste, plant material and recycling. Financing and legislation often form a barrier to commercial factories. The VNCI therefore calls on the government to come up with guarantees and smart policy.
